Welcome to the ‘about’ page of The Modern Old,

The goal of this channel is to show a new perspective on old video’s like never before. How amazing is it that nowadays we can, with the click of a button, see a 120-year-old video in color on YouTube? 
Because many people do not have the knowledge or computing power to create these video’s, I wanted to provide them to you. 

Keep in mind that the AI's used are not perfect (yet). This results in some colors that are washed out, flickering in scenes, artifacts or inaccurate colors that were not present in the original footage! We always try to find a balance between preservation and quality, therefore not all video's are '4K 60FPS'.
