Established in 1969, KBEV Channel 6 is a 24/7 student run television station in Beverly Hills, California. The KBEV studios are located on the campus of Beverly Hills High School. KBEV is a cable station programming provider for Spectrum Digital. KBEV reaches 100,000 local subscribers in and around Beverly Hills. Today, with 8 courses offered in the TV/Media Studies Department along with dual college credit enrollment and ranked 1st in state and 2nd in the nation, KBEV has become a center for discussion among university admissions officers and professionals in journalism, communication, public relations, public policy, media and education. Multidisciplinary and international in scope, focused and practical in application, KBEV Students and Faculty are defining the field for the 21st Century and beyond.
