My name is Aneka B.

I am a writer and independent researcher with an M.A. in cultural anthropology (please check out my socials for more info). Above all I consider myself an 'egoist' cultural critic.

My work is about desire.

I believe that desire is an undeniable machine that can't be ignored, or changed without distorting it (neurosis).

I dont believe in the need for leadership, I detest conformity, and don't recognize social hierarchies as being organized by any kind of natural order. I also oppose the concept of property.

Stirner's work resonates with me but I approach it from a Lacanian /Deleuzian perspective which focuses on a critique of capitalism (in the Deleuzian sense).

It's all about the interplay of desire and power. And right now that desire is guided by what bell hooks called "imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy."

I'm not a fan.
